Merita Flores, age 73, passed away Monday morning at her home.  Born in Pitt County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margie Harris Workman.

No formal services will be held at this time.

Mrs. Flores is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roy Thomas “Tommy” Flores; sons and daughters-in-law, Joey & Peggy Flores, Thomas & Shelly Flores;  daughter, Tammy Antonucci;  brother, Joe Barnes; sister, Diane Henning; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
