Bobby Ray Peacock, 62, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Wayne County on October 3, 1958, he was the son of the late Paul Peacock and Eula Crawford Peacock.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Peacock.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ann Peacock; sons, Bobby Fones (Tara) and Jeremy Peacock (Alisha); grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kristin, Jessica, Brayden, Jacob, Alaina, and Jordan; and two brothers.

Bobby enjoyed the simple things in life, working on cars, and watching a good Western movie on TV. Family was paramount to Bobby, and he took great pride in his seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church in Pikeville. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held in a private setting for the family.
