Robin Elaine Guevremont

Robin Elaine Guevremont

September 6, 2021, 56, Goldsboro –

Robin Elaine Guevremont is now resting in the arms of our dear Savior, fully healed. No more pain, no more suffering, no more tears, safe and secure from all alarms.

Barry’s beautiful bride & bestest friend. Our ever sweet little Mommy. The best Graham Cracker. Mama Robin to lots of our friends. A cheerful companion to soooooo many. So many. Her immediate family is truly grateful they were able to spend her final moments on earth together. We were able to speak with her, comfort & encourage her, be with her, kiss her, sing songs to her, and hold her hand.

Words from Barry: “I love you with all my heart, you have been my best friend and the best wife anyone could ask for. Married 38 years. 4 wonderful children Shayna, Matthew, Joey, Brittany, and their spouses Tony, Brian, and Amber. You have 5 grandchildren Elayna, Hallie, Audrey, River, and Edmund … we have had a good life, some tough times but we all made it through with our family. Lots of memories ….. I will love you forever and ever, even into eternity …..Be looking for me when my time is up, I will find you in Heaven. I love you so much, Robin!”

Time is short – make sure you tell people you love them often. Don’t put stuff off. Try not to go after material things. Spending time together is more important.
May Robin’s death remind us not to fritter away our days but to fill them instead. With love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. That at our impending end, we may be able to say, with Paul, The fight I have fought was a good fight, it was for things that mattered. The race I have run aimed for a worthy goal. The faith I have kept, now that my heart is still, now keeps me.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. We can’t explain what the world will bring. But God is here. He always has been here. And He always will be.

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
O how sweet to walk, In this pilgrim way,
O how bright the path grows from day to day,
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
