Jenny Porter Cannady, at the age of 81, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Sampson Regional Medical Center. She was a resident of the Suttontown area near Faison.

Mrs. Cannady is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, Cynthia and Clint Lynch of Rosewood, Julie and Danny Worrell, and Millisa and Gary Jones, all of Mount Olive; grandchildren, Brooke W. Shipman and husband, Prince, Beau Worrell and Alexis Grady, Jessica Butts and husband, Justin, Heather Jones and Austin Thornton, and Josh Lynch; great-grandchildren, Jazilyn Shipman, Jayden Shipman, Graysen Grady, Cannady Rose Butts, Tallulah Grace Butts, and Olivia Victoria Worrell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Cannady; her parents, Marshall Porter and Queen Westbrook Porter; sisters, Elva Lee King, Norva Grey Smith, and Nell Weeks; and brothers, Carroll Porter and Dan Porter.

Services to worship God and to celebrate her life will be Wednesday, September 1, at 6 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, and will be officiated by the Rev. Jeff Dail, and followed by visitation. Committal and burial will be Thursday, September 2, at 10 am. at Wayne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial gifts be made to First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 130 Ed Edmundson Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365, where Mrs. Cannady attended and worshipped.
