The remnants of Hurricane Ida are expected to impact Eastern Carolina today.  What’s left of Ida is expected to bring isolated to scattered strong or even severe storms as they cross the region today.  The National Weather Service says damaging winds and an isolated tornado are all possible with these storms. Also, locally heavy rain may result in the risk for minor flooding, mainly in poor drainage or urban areas.
