Donnie Ray Toler, 69, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Donnie was born in Johnston County on November 17, 1951 to the late James Edward Toler and Louise Williford Toler.

In addition to his parents, Donnie is preceded in death by his two brothers, Steve Toler and Ricky Toler.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Mary Croft Toler of 46 years; sons, James Ray Toler of Princeton and Donnie Ray Toler, Jr. and wife Tina of Lucama; daughter, April Lynn Toler of Princeton; grandchildren, Britney Potter, Justin Hayes, Tiffany Hayes, Dylan Toler, and Peyton Toler; brother, Roger Toler of Princeton; sister, Corless Croft of Columbia, South Carolina, and several other family and friends.

Donnie was a family man. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. While not at work, he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren who he loved dearly. He will be surely missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations. Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Fellowship United Methodist Church Cemetery located at 5755 Rains Crossroads Roads in Kenly.
