Richard Allen Henderson, 59, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at O’Berry Neuro-Medical Treatment Center. Born in Norwich, Connecticut on May 30, 1962 to the late K.G. Henderson and Barbara Ann Potts Henderson.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Gene Henderson.

Richard is survived by his sisters, Theresa A. Emmons of Connecticut and Sandra M. Mercer of Texas.

Richard enjoyed listening to music, puzzles and playing games, especially Connect Four. No matter when you saw him, he was wearing one of his many baseball caps. Richard loved watching Western cowboy movies. He enjoyed his favorite meal of spaghetti and his favorite snack, Moon Pies.

Due to the current Covid Pandemic, no services will be held at this time. A private service for the family will be planned for a future date.

Sandra and Theresa would like to give a huge thank you the all of the staff (nurses, doctors, and caretakers) at O’Berry Center for taking great care of Richard throughout these past years.
