Ms. Mary Lou Newsome Best, 83, passed on Sunday, August 22, 2021. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00pm at the New Spruill Cemetery, Bartlett Road,
Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

She was born on November 9, 1937 in Wayne county, NC to John Newsome and Maydell Turner Newsome. She is survived by her children, and many other loving relatives and friends.
