The United Way of Wayne County will officially kick-off its 2021 Community Campaign at 11:00 AM during the Volunteer Fair on August 31st at The Maxwell Center.
The Community Campaign is vital to the success of positively impacting 17,000 lives right here in Wayne County. Through the Community Campaign, UWWC is able to financially support local programs and address emerging issues and natural disasters. For a full list of funded programs, please visit unitedwayne.org.
In 2020 COVID-19 hit everyone hard, UWWC was there to assist in many facets across the county. Creating and facilitating new initiatives by partnering with the Wayne County Health Department, faith-based communities and Wayne County Public Schools, just to name a few. UWWC ensured our community needs were being met during the pandemic.
