The Optimist Club of Goldsboro will hold its 8th annual Kids Fun Day in two weekends.
Bill Edgerton from the Goldsboro Optimist Club says the event evolved from an ice cream social in the downtown.
This year, the Kids Fun Day has evolved to include a school supply giveaway.
300 backpacks stuffed with school supplies will be available to the families that come to the family-friendly event.
The event also includes bounce houses, entertainment, sprinklers and plenty of snacks.
The Optimist Club’s Kids Fun Day is Scheduled for Saturday, August 14th from 10 AM – 2 PM at The HUB on Center Street in Downtown Goldsboro.
