The North Carolina Medical Society, representing thousands of physicians and PAs throughout North Carolina wants eligible individuals who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 to please have a conversation with their health care professional. Highly trained clinicians in your area, who we hope you have come to trust with your care, have the facts about the vaccine and why it is crucial that as many people as possible receive the shot.

“This vaccine is our ticket to returning to a more normal, day-to-day existence – with our children back in school and businesses fully re-opened,” said Suneya Hogarty, DO, a physician with Integrative Arthritis and Pain Consultants in Wayne County. “The Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus is severely impacting those who have not been vaccinated and we’re seeing the numbers of cases rise and, unfortunately, so are COVID hospitalizations and deaths.”
