The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for a portion of Wayne County.  The Flood Warning is in effect until 9:15 AM Tuesday for Johnston County as well as western Wayne County.  Law enforcement has reported several flooded roads primarily in the Princeton area where 3 – 5 inches of rain fell overnight.  The water is expected to recede during the morning.  Motorists are reminded to never attempt to drive over a water-covered roadway.  Turn around and don’t drown.
