The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is holding an event featuring well-known Coach George Whitfield.   Whitfield is known for his coaching at high school, collegiate and legion levels.  He’s directed the Wayne County Baseball Clinic for over three decades.   Coach Whitfield will talk about leadership lessons and a look at his extraordinary life during the event on Wednesday, August 4^th from 9 – 10:30 AM at Lane Tree.  Seating is limited and you can RSVP by calling the Chamber at 919-734-2241.  The cost is $5 to attend.
