An 18-wheeler ran off a Wayne County road Thursday morning.  The accident occurred on Stevens Mill Road near Blackjack Church Road.  The semi full of produce went off the road and caught on fire.  Mar-Mac and Rosewood firefighters were the first to respond to the scene, as well as the State Highway Patrol.  The driver managed to get out of the tractor with help from bystanders.  NCDOT was on-scene to make repairs to the road.  Motorists are advised to avoid the area between Cherry Hospital and the Neuse River Bridge on Stevens Mill Road.  The road is expected to be closed into the afternoon.
