Vivian Begley Fields, 73, of Mt. Olive, passed away Saturday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was born at Hell-Fer-Certain Creek, KY to the late Oscar and June Begley, and was married to the late Charles Fields. Mrs. Fields was a retired dietetic assistant from Wayne Memorial Hospital. She loved people, especially children and elderly. She enjoyed serving them, no one ever came to visit her and left hungry. She enjoyed cooking and was especially good at cooking pizza. So good that she and Charles opened Fields Pizza Town. In her spare time, she liked to play cards with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, at 11:00 am at Mt. Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 prior to the service.

Vivian is survived by her children, Susan Helms and husband, Brice of Princeton, Charlene Anderson and husband, Bruce of Mt. Olive, and Darlene Tinker and husband, Todd of Princeton; and grandchildren, Jason Lane, Aaron Lane, Cory Elizabeth Anderson, Joshua Anderson, Justin Anderson, Madison Roberson, and Blake Tinker.
