Kinston Police charge a suspect for an April homicide.
On April 17th, the Kinston P.D. responded to a residence on the 800 block of College Street for a welfare check and located 29-year-old Gabrielle Wendt deceased inside the home. The case was investigated as a homicide.
On Friday, detectives with the Kinston Police Department obtained warrants against 33-year-old Torrence Howard of Fayetteville for Wendt’s murder. Howard was already in the custody of the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated charges.
