The Goldsboro Police Department and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office will once again team for a night of unity and peace.
National Night Out returns to Herman Park next month.
GPD Maj. Anthony Carmon spoke about the annual event at last week’s Operation Unite Goldsboro Community Roundtable.
Maj. Carmon says the event had to be cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but this year, they’re looking forward to connecting with the community and “take our neighborhoods back from crime.”
National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, August 3rd, from 6 – 8 PM at Herman Park in Goldsboro.
The community event will feature free food, games, a resource fair and live entertainment.
