The following schedule changes will be taking place this week in observance of Independence Day:

• Goldsboro City Government Offices will be closed Monday, July 5, 2021 in observance of Independence Day.
  • Monday’s solid waste routes in the city will be collected Wednesday, July 7.
• County of Wayne Government Offices will be closed Monday, July 5, 2021. Offices will re-open Tuesday, July 6, 2021 for normal business hours.
  • All branches of the Wayne County Public Library closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
  • The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Senior Center will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
  • The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
• Mount Olive Town Offices will be closed on Monday, July 5, 2021 in observance of Independence Day.  Town offices will reopen on Tuesday, July 6 at 8 AM.
  • The Mount Olive Recyclable Center will be closed on Saturday, July 3 and Monday, July 5.  The Recyclable Center will reopen on Wednesday, July 7 at 8 AM.
  • Household garbage and yardwaste pickup for Monday (southeast side) and Tuesday (northeast side) will be delayed by one day.
  • Recyclables for the east side will still be picked up on Wednesday, July 7.
