Library Expands Children’s Programs To Cliffs Of The Neuse

The Wayne County Public Library will be expanding children’s programming to the Cliffs of the Neuse this summer. Programs will be held every Tuesday at 10:30 AM from June 22-July 27 at the large picnic shelter. In case of rain, the program will meet in the auditorium at the Cliffs of the Neuse.

“We want to take our story times outdoors and into nature so our patrons can learn about the parks and wildlife around Wayne County, including the Cliffs of the Neuse,” said Anna Snyder, Head of Children’s Services. “Children learn so much from reading and exploring the world around them.”

Programs will include story times, crafts and activities, as well as guest speakers such as Dr. Eleanor Spicer-Rice, Wildlife Biologist Chris Turner, park rangers, and more. Parents and guardians can sign up online at wcpl.org/kids.
