June 11, 2021, 85, Mt. Olive –

Mr. Robert Noel Williams, 85, peacefully transitioned from Earth to receive his Heavenly reward on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 1:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

He was born on May 4, 1936, to the late Jesse Cooper and LuLu Williams. Later, he met and married his childhood sweetheart, Maggie L. Robinson. From their union, they were blessed with six children: Darlene (the late, William) Bynum of Albertson, NC, Mary Cooper of Seven Springs, NC, Jimmy (Brenda) Cooper of Kinston, NC, Robert (Pandora) Cooper of Dudley, NC, the late Rosa Cooper, and the late Maurice Cooper. He leaves to cherish twelve grandchildren: Terrail (Felicia) Cooper, Coquenia (Zurrick) Simpson, Christopher Cooper, Monchello (Vonette) Cooper, Bryan Mills, Jeremy Cooper, Micah Cooper, Jalen Cooper, Alishia (Bob) Glendenning, Shawn Cooper, Elijah Cooper, and Joshua Cooper; six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Margaret Robinson, Dorothy Dudley Manley, Marie Williams and Gertrude Brown.
