Reverend Dr. Howard E. McNair Sr., 75, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The homegoing celebration will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00am with a public viewing from 10:00am to 10:50am at the Love Temple, 201 N. Oak Forest Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be entombed at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at New Stoney Hill UHC,1003 Poplar Street, Goldsboro, NC.

He was born on April 6, 1946 in Wayne County, NC to Willie McNair to Marion McNair Parker. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Veda H. McNair; his daughter, Tamika (James) Waddell; his son, Howard E. (Lamonica) McNair Jr.; his granddaughter, Kourtlyn Stewart; a grandson, Quinton Waddell and a host of other loving relatives, friends and his New Stoney Hill Church Family.
