Remnants Of Tropical Storm Claudette Head Toward Eastern N.C.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Claudette are heading into Eastern Carolina.  The system has been downgraded into a tropical depression since making landfall in the Gulf, and is now moving east.  According to the National Weather Service, the moisture associated with Tropical Depression Claudette will move into the area Sunday, resulting in periods of showers and thunderstorms through late tonight.  Some storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and heavy rains possible as well as an isolated tornado.
