June 12, 2021, 83, Goldsboro –

Mother Mable Foye Moses, 83, went to her heavenly home Saturday, June 12, 2021 at University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, Maryland.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5 until 6:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park North Cemetery, Old Grantham Road in Goldsboro.

Mother Moses was born in Wayne County on February 2, 1938 to the late James and Lucinda Coley Foye. She served as Mother at Darden’s Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary Moses and wife, Cynthia of Maryland and William Moses of Ohio; two daughters, Catherine Moses and Joyce Richardson of Maryland; two sisters, Bessie Barnes and husband, H.B. of Goldsboro and Doris Spruill of Goldsboro and two grandchildren, Bryan Moses and Jasmine Marie Sayles and husband, Chris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Moses and several brothers.
