Goldsboro Native Regan Assists Effort To Get N.C. Vaccinated

(NORTH CAROLINA NEWS NETWORK) — The rate at which Americans are getting vaccinated against COVID-19 has slowed to levels which make it unlikely that the President’s goal of 70 percent vaccinated by July 4th will be reached. On Tuesday, EPA Administrator and Goldsboro native Michael Regan visited Raleigh to promote a new White House initiative to canvass vulnerable neighborhoods with low vaccination rates.  The outreach initiative has volunteers going door to door in neighborhoods, handing out fliers with facts about the vaccine, and a schedule of when and where they can get a shot.
