Rosewood’s wrestling team recognized its four graduating seniors on Wednesday during a tri-match with Greene Central and Neuse Charter School.
Seniors Elijah Joyner, William Kimball, and Braeden Reiss paced the Eagles with two wins each. Julissa Jaramillo, the fourth senior, is rehabbing from knee surgery.
The Eagles were dominant in a 78-6 win over Greene Central and then flew over Neuse Charter 60-18 in the nightcap to push their season dual team record to a perfect 26-0.
The Eagles will finish their regular season on Friday at Manteo and First Flight. On Tuesday, Rosewood will host the 1A East Regional tournament, with wrestling beginning at 10 a.m.
