Memorial Day Traffic Stop Leads To Cocaine-Dealing Arrest

On Memorial Day, May 31st, Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies were patrolling the area near Central Heights Road near E. New Hope Road.  The deputies stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle violation.  During a search, 30-year-old Quinton E. Moye of Grifton was allegedly found to be in possession of crack-cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Moye was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was given a $7,000 secured bond and turned over to the Wayne County Detention Center for processing.
