John Cleveland “J.C.” Warren, 83, a well-known farmer of the Faison area, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Mr. Warren was the son of the late John Wesley Warren, Jr. and Hilda King Warren. He was a retired volunteer with Faison Fire Department and a member of Faison United Methodist Church.

The Warren family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive on Tuesday, June 8, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, at 11 a.m. at Faison United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Jabe Largen, and followed by burial in the Faison Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Faison Methodist Church (PO Box 417, Faison NC 28341) or to Faison Fire Department (PO Box 758, Faison NC 28341)

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Dean Williams Warren; sons, Bailey Warren and wife, Julie, of Surf City, John Warren of Arizona, and Brad Warren and wife, Cheryl, of Faison; daughters, Terri MCGloin and husband, Ted, of Wake Forest, Jackie Savage and husband, Mike, of Virginia Beach, Michele Merritt of Wallace, and Judi Rockefeller of Virginia Beach; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A sister, Melba Forehand, preceded him in death.
