Otha Lee Littleton Hollingsworth, 90, passed away on Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

Otha was born in Wayne County on June 9, 1930 to the late E.J. (Black) Littleton and Nora Watson Littleton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Deems R. Hollingsworth. Otha was a valued employee of J.C. Penny‘s for over 40 years. However her greatest joy was when she was able to spend time with her family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Falling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends Wednesday following the service at the cemetery and other times at her home.

Otha is survived by her daughter, Sandy Woodard of Grantham; son, Randy Hollingsworth and wife Fran of Princeton, TX; grandchildren, Holly Daly and husband Chris, Rebecca Staskelunas and husband Matt, Caroline Walton and husband Kevin, and Kenneth Hollingsworth; and great-grandchildren, Christopher, Carson, and Cuyler Daly, Hudson and Holden Staskelunas, and Isaac Walton.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin Alexander Littleton, Luther Littleton, and Johnny Mac Littleton; and sister, Dalphies Glidewell.

We would like to give a very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Brookdale Country Day as well as Kitty Askins Hospice Center for the love and care they provided for Otha during her final days. Simple words cannot express our gratitude.
