Lewis Odell Craig, 56, passed away on Friday May 14, 2021, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Lewis was born in Wayne County on August 17, 1964 to the late Lewis Craig and Linda Strickland Mason. He was a simple man that would do anything for anybody. Lewis loved everything about his super hero, Superman, and will be fondly remembered by his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Veda Ellen Craig of Goldsboro and Robin Craig Jones and husband, Joseph of Lebanon, OR; his grandchildren, Elijah Beville, Aidan Craig-Johnson, Jezebel Jones, Drucilla Jones; his sisters, Crissy Mason and Heather Calderon and husband, Charlie; his niece, Victoria Calderon and nephew, Marco Calderon.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Eureka Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at his daughter’s home, Veda Ellen Craig, 411 Weaver Road, Goldsboro.
