The Oak Wolfe Fire Department in Duplin County will be hosting their spring fundraiser this Saturday, May 8, at the Oak Ridge Community Building. This year, the fire department will only be cooking barbecue pork. No chicken plates will be available.  The cost per plate is $9. This will be a drive thru ONLY. The event is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. and run until the plates are sold out. As most folks know, the plates go quickly. The funds raised go to the fire department’s yearly operating budget.
