Kinston Rescinds COVID-19 Emergency Orders

The City of Kinston is easing its COVID-19 emergency orders.  On Monday, Kinston Mayor Don Hardy announced he has rescinded the two emergency proclamations made at the beginning of the pandemic.  Mayor Hardy has ended the mask mandate and the curfew orders for the City of Kinston.  Kinston residents are still encouraged to wear masks when indoors and when in close proximity to others who may not be vaccinated, make responsible decisions when travelling, and consider getting vaccinated.
