NC Pickle Fest Features In-Person & Virtual Events This Weekend

The North Carolina Pickle Festival goes virtual this weekend.

The Pickle Fest was scaled back this year to keep folks safe during the ongoing pandemic.

But there will still be plenty of events to “relish” in the Mount Olive area.

The fun kicks off tonight, Friday, April 23, with a drive-in movie at the Town of Mount Olive’s Daughtry Field.  The entry fee is five canned goods per person to be donated to the Make A Difference Food Pantry.

The virtual and in-person Cuke Patch 5K is being held Saturday morning, April 24, with four starting times.

There will also be a virtual recipe contest and a virtual pickle eating contest on Saturday.

The full details on all of this year’s activities can be found at ncpicklefest.org.
