Nearly 26,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Wayne County.

According to Tuesday’s figures from the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, 25,972 people (21.1%) have been at least partially vaccinated in Wayne County while 18,513 persons (15%) have been fully vaccinated.

Across North Carolina, nearly 6 million doses of the COVID vaccine have been administered, with 2,295,253 second doses already being given to residents.
