April 4, 2021, 78, Emerald Isle –

June Marie Gooding, 78, of Emerald Isle, formerly of Burlington, departed her walk of life Easter Sunday morning, April 4, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

June was born in Burlington, NC on January 4, 1943 to the late Percy and Corene James.

Among her survivors are two children, Michelle Martin and Keith Britt; two grandchildren, Joseph Martin and Lee Nance and her extended family and friends at Emerald Isle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Howard.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
