C.B. Aycock hosted Southern Wayne on Wednesday.

Both teams fought hard, but the Saints were unable to topple the Golden Falcons “Fantastic Four.” C.B. Aycock improved its record to 3-0 and will host New Bern on Monday. Southern Wayne (0-2) hosts Eastern Wayne on Monday.

“These guys just go out and get the job done and never even worry about the three forfeits they have before starting. They are always complimenting each other during singles and doubles. They look out for each other and play team tennis,” C.B. Aycock head coach Gene Stancil said.
