Dorothy Ann Vonville Kimble, 73, resident of the Goldsboro area, passed away early Monday morning, March 15, 2021 while being cared for at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Her family will have visitation at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday, March 19.

Mrs. Kimble was retired with civil service where she worked in finance administration.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles William Kimble; her parents, Charles P Vonville and Lillian Brown Vonville; and a brother, John Vonville.

Loved ones surviving her include her husband, Charles “Chuck” Kimble, of the home; a son, Richard Kimble and his wife, Cindy, of Goldsboro; a daughter, Karen Worley and her husband, Levy, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Cody Worley, Stephanie Lee and husband, Josh Lee, Kelly Ann Kimble, Ryan Kimble, and Katie Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Deacon Reece and Addilyn Lee; a brother, Charles “Pud” Vonville of Maryland; two sisters, Betty Pearson and Barbara Gorski, both of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.
