Wendi Gayle Barefoot, 32, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021.

Wendi was born in Lenoir County on October 3, 1988 to Cynthia Smith Sasser and Willie Barefoot. She had been an employee of Wendy’s in Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Wendi’s life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in the Snow Hill Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Rhiannon Coats and Joleigh Williams; son, Waylon Coats; sisters, Kim Skinner and husband Clif and Lisa Smith; brother, William “Drac” Barefoot; and her maternal grandmother, Shirley Smith. She is also survived by her loving grandmother, Myra Barefoot; and many extended family members and friends.
