A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Wayne County from Thursday morning through Friday morning.  The National Weather Service says moderate to heavy rainfall will move into the region Thursday morning and persist through Friday morning.  The possibility for 2 – 3 inches of rain on the already saturated soils will increase the risk for flash flooding, especially where storms develop.

Remember: Turn around and don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.  Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
