WCPS Students Participate In Virtual Performance Showcase

Over the next three weeks, Wayne County Public Schools students will showcase their talents and abilities in the district’s first ever, Virtual Performance Showcase. The showcase will span three nights and can be watched on the district’s education channel located on Spectrum Cable’s Channel 18.

“All of our schools have some unbelievably talented students,” states Christy White, Title IV Enrichment Facilitator. “Though it is not a competition, like a talent show our students will represent their schools and ‘take the stage’ virtually in a wide variety of performances. Our students and performing arts teachers are very excited to share these artistic performances. Families and community members can expect high quality performances in a video format that will make our Virtual Performance Showcase look and feel like a live event.”
