Allan Michael Sauls, age 20, passed away at his home on Tuesday. Born Sturgis, MI, he was the son of Jennifer Thornton Burchett and the late Marvin Sauls, Jr. He was a graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and was employed with Texas Roadhouse in Goldsboro.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Becky Bradley officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Along with his mother, Allan is survived by his brothers, Noah Sauls and Joey Avery; his sister, Jenna Sauls; grandmother, Shirley Gronovius; step father, James Avery; step father, Jimmy Burchett, Jr.; step mother, Ann Sauls, step brothers, James Avery, Jr. and James Daniel Burchett, III.; step sisters, Kim Stephenson, Ashley Pilkington and Jamie Burchett; Uncles, Michael Thornton, Jr. and James Sauls; Aunt, Tammy Thornton.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Thornton, Sr. and step sister, Crystal Hall.
