Windy Fields Temple, 56, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Wake Medical Center.

Windy was born in Pitt County on February 17, 1964 to the late Ray and Dean Fields. She had worked as the deli manager for Food Lion for many years. Windy has recently been helping her grandchildren with their virtual learning. She will be remembered for her unconditional love as a wife and mother, and a friend to all. Family was paramount to Windy, and she loved nothing more than her husband, children, and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. in Bethel Church Cemetery in Four Oaks. Attendees are asked to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.

Windy is survived by her husband, Randy Temple; sons, Brad Davis (Melissa), Nathan Davis (Kim) and Patrick Hollowell (Summer); eleven grandchildren; and sister, Jackie Hollis. She is also survived by her best friend that she loved like a sister, Tammy Lewis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margie Stilson and Phyllis Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the family to help with the cost of Windy’s funeral service.
