Milford Jordan Harrell, 84, of Mt. Olive passed away Saturday at Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Wilmington, NC. He was the son of the late Milford Z. and Inez J. Harrell, and is the husband of Mary Lois Williams Harrell. Jordan was also preceded in death by his step-mom Ruth Kornegay Harrell and his twin brother, Gordan. Mr. Harrell was a retired truck driver at Goldsboro Milling with 40 years of service, and was a member of Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at the graveside in Wayne Memorial Park on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Paul Rose and Rev. Jimmy Whitfield officiating. Family members will greet friends following the service.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, Mr. Harrell is survived by his son, Jordan Keith Harrell and wife, Mary of Mt. Olive; a daughter, Marie Warren and husband, Jim of Wilmington; a brother, Clark Harrell and wife, Hilda; a sister, Betty Yount and husband, Bill of Durham; and a granddaughter, Coralie Warren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
