January 24, 2021, 72, Mount Olive –
Judy Hinson Hines, life-long resident of the Mount Olive area, passed away early Sunday morning, January 24, 2021 at Vidant Duplin Hospital. She was 72.
Mrs. Hines will be remembered for her having been a teacher’s assistant and after school instructor at the North Duplin Schools. She worshipped her Lord at Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by her husband, Reginald R. Hines, Jr., of the home; four children, Reginald R. Hines III and wife, Kris, of Mount Olive, Theron Scott Hines of Faison, Kimberly Hines Stanley and husband, Jeffrey, of Youngsville, and Elizabeth Ann Hines Edens and husband, Neil, of Olive Hill, Kentucky; grandchildren, Caroline Hines, Parker Stanley, Grace Edens, Jenna Stanley, Matthew Hines, Anna Edens, Andrew Stanley, Jacob Stanley, Holly Jernigan, and Jonathan Jernigan; a great-grandson, Almon Jernigan; a brother, Ronnie Hinson of Mount Olive; two sisters-in-law, Gail Sutton Hinson of Dudley, and Emma “Casey” Hines Sutton of Mount Olive; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ralph Hinson and Marjorie Price Hinson; and a brother, Ralph “Junior” Hinson.
Due to the covid pandemic, the Hines family will celebrate the life of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt in a private ceremony.
