Teresa Hill Horne, 68, 1690 N. Hwy 581 died Saturday at her residence.

Funeral service, Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont. There will be a time of sharing with the family following the service.

Surviving is her son Ashley Wayne Horne of the home, sisters, Julia “Judy” Hill Kearney and, Patricia Diane Hill Rand both of Swansboro.

A native of Fremont she was preceded in death by her parents Ava Lee Peele Hill and Thaddeus Calhoun “T. C. Hill, III, her husband Jerry Wayne Horne. She had worked at Cherry Hospital for a number of years as a correctional officer for the State. She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
