A Flood Warning is in effect for the Neuse River in Wayne County.  At 5 AM on Monday, the Neuse River near Goldsboro was at over 19 feet, which is in “Minor Flood Stage.”  Due to the rain over the past several days, the river is expected to continue rising through the week.  At this time, the Neuse River is expected to crest at around 22 feet in “Moderate Flood Stage” on Thursday or early Friday.

Remember to never attempt to drive through water-covered roadways.  Turn Around and Don’t Drown.
