Drive Thru Event Brings Christmas Cheer At MAD Pantry

Friday night, nearly 350 cars came to the Make A Difference Food Pantry Drive Thru Christmas Spirit Event. They were greeted by the Grinch, Scooby, Cindy Lou, Buddy the Elf, The Elf on The Shelf, Rudolph, Olaf, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, and Ana from Frozen.  Treats were provided for the kids.

Along with lifting spirits, the MAD Pantry has served 58,411 people and distributed an excess of 300,000 pounds of food in December alone across Wayne, Duplin, Greene, Johnston, Sampson, Harnett, and Cumberland counties.

“I am blessed to have the resources to help communities and pray we can continue to meet the need. Thank you to everyone that donates in anyway.”

-Kenzie Hinson, owner of the Make a Difference Food Pantry
