The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office pulled a vehicle over on Highway 117 South for an NC registration violation on Tuesday.  The vehicle was searched during the stop.  The driver, 34-year-old Bobby R. Overton of Goldsboro, was arrested for illegal narcotics.  Overton is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was given a $2,000 secured bond and turned over to Wayne County Detention staff for processing.
