Sharon was born on February 25, 1961 at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. She was the second of Chester and Patricia Clifton’s nine children. She married Tim Erdmann on May 21, 1983 in Austin Texas. Sharon worked as a Client Services Specialist with Mike Fryt and her co-worker Katherine Williams.

Sharon’s greatest accomplishment was raising three wonderful children who grew into amazing adults starting to raise their families. Sharon loved her children fully and was an instant mom to all of their friends. Sharon lit up talking about them and she never spared an opportunity to celebrate their benchmark life moments. Sharon absolutely loved being a grandma and took every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren.

Sharon enjoyed teaching and working with kids of all ages. She home schooled her own children as well as many others. She challenged them for greater learning. Sharon enjoyed Bible Quiz, Missionettes, and working with youth groups for fine arts. Sharon was a loving and caring person who took pride in helping others. Through her actions, she showed others how to be less selfish and more generous. Sharon encouraged others in ministry, in life, and in motherhood. She had life hacks, cooking tricks and crafty solutions and was able to create magic in everything she touched. She enjoyed making blankets, quilts and other knit and crochet items which are treasured by all who received them.

Sharon never found a creature she didn’t want to take care of and named all of them. Sharon had a lifelong love of horses. She loved watching them run in her pasture and riding them too.

Sharon was loved and adored by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Sharon is survived by her husband Timothy Erdmann, son Jonathan Erdmann and his wife Shalai and their daughter Victoria, daughter Ashley Smith-Bishop and her husband Christian and their daughter Hazel, daughter Cassie Toms and her husband Trentt and their son Everett, sisters Pam Moreland, Mendy Biege, and Misty Clifton, brothers Chuck Clifton, Todd Clifton, Jason Clifton and Jeffrey Clifton, and many nieces and nephews.
