Gerald Lamm Wellons, 79, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 10, 2020. He was born December 9, 1941 in Johnston County to the late Wiley Thomas Wellons and Emma Lamm Wellons.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Matthew Cornett and Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.

Mr. Wellons attended Temple Baptist Church. He was an employee at General Electric for 35 years where he was a member of G E T. O. M. club. He assisted the Lions Club with their fund raisers for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Louise Moore Wellons; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Christie Wellons of Princeton and Mark Wellons and fiancé, Beverly Sorrell of Fuquay Varina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Georgia Wellons of Orlando, Florida and Dwight and Margaret Wellons of Princeton; and grandsons, Justin Wayne Wellons and Zachary Evan Wellons.
