Elizabeth Ann Sauls Jackson, 73, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020.

Born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth Sauls. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Sutton Jackson, on November 11, 2020.

Ann retired from the finance department for Wayne County Public Schools. She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church where she served in various ways.

Ann and Jerry loved spending time with their family at their beach house at Ocean Front Court in Salter Path.

She is survived by her son, Jay Jackson and wife Cindy; daughter, Kathy Harris and husband Davis; grandchildren, Kari Vail and husband Blake, Kate Harris, Molly Jackson, Jackson Harris; and one great-grandchild, Hardy Vail. She is also survived by her brother, Ronnie Sauls and wife Jeannie; brother-in-law, Doug Booth; and nieces and nephews she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Erlene Booth; granddaughter, Faith Harris; and great-grandson, Jack Vail.

A service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Eureka Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
